Wonder Woman

In my continued efforts to post more artwork, here's the beautiful Wonder Woman (owned by DC Comics, drawn and colored by me). I was thinking about awesome characters, and after finishing up the last pic of Winry Rockbell, I had to follow up with another strong female.

I tried a lot of new things with the coloring on this one. The metal in her wrist bands and tiara was especially hard to figure out. I kept getting too detailed or too simplified, or too crapily done. I finally settled on the spaced gradient with shadows, then the highlights using varied intensity with a hard edge on the Linear Dodge layer. That, and the working of gradients throughout the design, and I think it's the most complicated "simple" coloring I've ever done! I hope you like it!
